Kimi Raikkonen put his Lotus top on the final day of the first pre-season test in Jerez on Friday.

The Finn clocked a 1:18.148 in the E21 on soft tyres to topple Jules Bianchi by just under three thousandths.

The session saw several red flags, the first a result of Pedro de la Rosa's engine failure in the Ferrari, curbing his running to just a few laps in the morning.

Later in the day, a loose kerb meant the session was stopped for an hour whilst that was repaired. An additional 30 minutes added to the session to appease the teams.

Sebastian Vettel's lap on hard tyres was good enough to put him third fastest ahead of Esteban Gutierrez in the Sauber.

At the back, Charles Pic and Luiz Razia were some three seconds off the pace, whilst Paul di Resta concentrated on high-fuel runs.
