Gallery: Red Bull RB9 launched in Milton Keynes
Sunday 03rd February 2013, 13:10 by TF1T Staff
Red Bull join Lotus, McLaren, Force India, Ferrari and Sauber, in launching their 2013 car during an event at their Milton Keynes factory on Sunday.
The RB9, successor to the title-winning RB8 - which in turn is an evolution of the two championship winning cars before it - retains the stepped-nose, but has dropped the slot which, according to the team, was for 'cooling purposes'.
The livery has also undergone a change, with added purple to highlight the new Infiniti title sponsorship.
Designer, Adrian Newey, says the chassis, gearbox and rear suspension are the most refined areas on the new car and most likely to be developed over the season.
