January 31st launch for 2013 McLaren

McLaren will unveil its 2013 car, the MP4-28, on January 31st in the United Kingdom, the team confirmed on Thursday.

The launch is a day earlier than the cars predecessor which was revealed to the world at their Woking HQ on February 1st 2012.

The exact location is yet to be revealed - only that it will be within the UK.

Jenson Button will join new team-mate Sergio Perez at the event.

Force India are the only other team to confirm its launch - which is scheduled for February 1st, a week before the first pre-season test in Jerez.
