Sauber have confirmed that their 2013 chassis, the C32, has passed all the mandatory FIA crash tests for next season.
"The C32 chassis and safety structures have passed their FIA safety tests," Sauber wrote on Twitter. "So, fully homologated and ready for winter testing."
The 18 structural tests, as of 2012, must be passed prior to the start of winter testing, otherwise the car cannot compete.
With fairly stable regulations, it's unlikely the tests will be a concern this season with the majority of cars evolutions of their predecessors.
Pre-season testing kicks off on February 5th.
