Pastor Maldonado has been handed a ten-place grid penalty for the Brazilian Grand Prix after receiving his third reprimand of the season.
The Williams driver missed a call into the weighbridge by an FIA official and a red warning light as he entered the pits - therefore was handed a reprimand, his third of the season.
Under new regulations, three reprimands in a single season warrant a grid penalty.
He had originally qualified sixth and will therefore start 16th. The penalty promotes title contendor Fernando Alonso to seventh position.
