Lotus expect to retain Raikkonen in 2013

Lotus fully expect to retain both Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean after the current season, according to team principal Eric Boullier.

The former has been linked to a return to Ferrari for 2013 as a replacement for Felipe Massa. However, both Boullier and Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali believe it unlikely.

"It is nice that Ferrari is in the newspapers, but I don't know that Kimi has plans to go back to Ferrari," said Boullier on Monday.

When probed on whether or not Lotus would have the same drivers next season, he replied: "Definitely. There is no reason for them to leave."

Domenicali says the speculation is nothing more than that.

"Kimi was a world champion with us and I saw the speculation in the media but it's nothing more than that," he confirmed.
