Valtteri Bottas once again topped the times at the Silverstone young driver test, with Friday marking the end of the two-day test attended by Williams, Marussia and HRT.

The Finnish driver posted a 48.963 second lap on the shorter Silverstone circuit which was in use on Friday, rather than the grand prix circuit used on Thursday.

Max Chilton for Marussia finished second. He shared the day with Rio Haryanto who finished third, almost half a second shy of Chilton.

Whilst Williams concentrated on aerodynamic data gathering, the Marussia pair concentrated on mileage to gain their superlicenses.
